Neuro-Affirming Therapy

At Jade Louise, all therapeutic work is grounded in a neuro-affirming, trauma-informed, and person-centred approach.

I believe in honouring neurodivergent identities, supporting autonomy, and creating emotionally safe spaces where healing, growth, and connection can flourish.

  • Individual Therapy

Supporting personal wellbeing, identity, and emotional regulation.

Individual therapy is a one-on-one space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a safe, non-judgmental environment.

My approach honours neurodivergent ways of thinking, feeling, and being, without framing them as deficits. Sessions may focus on emotional regulation, burnout recovery, anxiety, self-understanding, masking, identity, and trauma.

As a neuro-affirming practitioner, I offer flexibility in how sessions are structured—respecting communication differences, sensory needs, and the importance of pacing. This is a space where you can unmask, feel seen, and be supported just as you are.

  • Relationship Therapy

Helping couples build understanding, connection, and safety.

Relationships can be deeply fulfilling—but also incredibly complex, especially when neurodivergence plays a role in communication, emotional expression, or sensory experiences.

I offer neuro-affirming couples therapy that respects both neurodivergent and neurotypical ways of relating.

Whether you're navigating differences in emotional regulation, intimacy, executive functioning, or conflict resolution, my sessions provide tools to build safety, empathy, and mutual understanding.

I’m trained in Gottman Method and Neurodivergent Friendly Couples Therapy (NFCT), integrating research-based frameworks with lived understanding of neurodiversity.

  • Family Therapy

Reconnecting families through trust, communication, and compassion.

Families navigating neurodivergence often face challenges in understanding and supporting one another.

My family therapy sessions create a safe, structured environment for open dialogue, emotional repair, and building healthier dynamics.

I help parents and children reconnect, co-regulate, and find common ground—especially during periods of conflict, stress, or transition.

With experience supporting high-conflict families, NDIS participants, and court-ordered reunification, I bring a calm, balanced approach to complex systems.

  • Neurodivergent Therapy

Therapy for Autistic, ADHD, PDA, and otherwise neurodivergent individuals.

This therapy is specifically designed for neurodivergent clients who need a space where they don’t have to mask or explain their differences.

As an ADHD-CCSP certified and neurodivergent-affirming practitioner, I provide support that embraces stimmy bodies, spiky profiles, and non-linear communication.

Areas of focus often include identity exploration, burnout, sensory overload, executive functioning struggles, masking, trauma, and self-advocacy.

Sessions are guided by your needs and preferences—offering flexibility, safety, and genuine respect for your neurotype.
