  • The Autism Family Support Association Inc. (AFSA)

    AFSA is the collective voice for autistic people with complex and high support needs and their parents, carers and families. We provide fellowship, peer support and information.

    AFSA actively raises our community’s concerns with state and federal government policymakers to achieve better services and outcomes for autistic people and their families.

    AFSA provides links to contemporary evidence-based information, resources, networks, and support services via our website, social media, and meetings.

  • Geelong Carers Connect

    Geelong Carers Connect is run by parents for parents in the greater Geelong region.

    Parents and full-time carers of children with additional needs are invited to participate in this private group. We created this group in order to connect with like-minded local families online and face-to-face. Our aim is to create positive connections between families across the greater Geelong region. Our members share informal tips, lived experiences, and support through virtual connections and face-to-face events. We look forward to welcoming you to the group.

  • The A-List

    The A-List is where young autistic and neurodivergent people can search for autism-friendly activities and connect with like-minded people with similar interests. You can also find resources and videos.

    The A-List Social Hubs are face-to-face meetups where young neurodivergent people can meet others, make friends, or hang out. Either way, we let you be social your way.

  • Association For Children with a Disability

    ACD supports children with disability and their families across Victoria, with their vision being for children with disability and their families to have the same rights and opportunities as other children and families.

  • Yellow Lady Bugs

    Yellow Ladybugs is a non-government organisation dedicated to the happiness, success and celebration of autistic girls, women and gender-diverse individuals.

  • NDIS

    The NDIS participant portal is called myplace.

    It is a secure portal on the Australian Government’s myGov website where you or a person you trust (a nominee or child representative) can access your NDIS information. Through myplace, you can view your current and previous plans, see messages from the NDIS, create and view payment requests, create and manage service bookings, upload documents, including assessments or service agreements, share your plan or parts of your plan with your service providers, and find service providers.

  • Carer Card Program

    The Victorian Carer Card recognises the significant contribution carers make to the lives of the people they care for and the communities in which they live.

    The card provides discounts and benefits to carers in acknowledgement of this contribution.

  • Centrelink Carers Allowance

    The Centrelink Careres Allowance is for people who give additional daily care to someone with a disability or medical condition, or an adult who is frail aged.

  • Centrelink Carers Payment

    The Centrelink Carers Payment is a payment if you provide constant care to someone with a severe disability or illness or an adult who is frail.
